Some random news: My awesome unicorn based short story is about 25% done. I'ts turning out to be more of a short novel (or as the cool kids say novella) than short story. Also High School Musical with Middle Schoolers gave me some strange quotes:

1) Some 6th grad girl: Hi Jorge (thats how you spell Hor-Hay)
Me: I bet you can't spell Jorge.
6th grader:H-o-r-s-e

2)Crazy girl holding bag of grapes: I HATE LEMONS!

3)Some really dumb guy: But I like diarrhea!

wait, that last one was me...eh, whatever...

I have a short story due monday for english. Which is the same day as the AP test. And I have that stupid show all weekend also. And Sunday's Mother's Day. So I have pretty much no time. BUT! I know what I'm writing, and it's called, "The Perilous Journey of Tim the Legless Unicorn." Yeah, I know, it sounds a bit...off. BUT! Tim has kids named Bibbity Boy McGee and Hortense. And yes, I'm turning this in as a serious project. And yes, I'll post it when I'm done.

As some of you know, I was recently in "High School Musical", and it sucked. A.E.Wright Middle School is doing HSM now, and someone in it quit the show, and guess which part the guy played...uh huh...MY PART! So now I have to be in the show on Fri. and Sat. *tears*

Summer Movies!

I had a verbal joust with my English teacher during class...I think I won...
We were reading the Odyssey and my teacher was mispronouncing the words and she got angry when I corrected her.

Teacher(T):The ferryman man at the River Styx is Charon...(she said the 'ch' like in children)

Me(M):I do believe it is pronounced like Karen...

T:No it isn't...

M:Yes it is...

T:NO IT ISN'T!

M:Whatever...
(a few minutes later)
T:...And Odyssyus sailed past Charybdis...(she said it like cherry-dis)

M:I do believe there is a 'b' in that word.

T:Uhh, it's silent.

M:Who's ever heard of a silent 'b'?

T:It's Greek.

M:According to the characters page at the beginning of the story, it's pronounced ka-rib-dis.

T:I TOOK A MYTHOLOGY CLASS IN COLLEGE THAT WAS TOUGHT BY A PROFESSOR WHO HAD THREE DOCTORITES IN GREEK AND LATIN AND MYTHOLOGY AND I'M GOING TO LISTEN TO HIM INSTEAD OF THE BOOK AND HE SAYS IT'S CHERRYDIS!!!

M:there's still a 'b'...

T:Odysseyus went home to his son Telemachus(she said tell-a-mach-us)

M:(I knew for a 100% fact that it was pronounced te-lem-a-kus, but a flipped back to the character page to be sure)
